    Khachoe Ghakyil Nunnery is home to over 380 nuns. They are inspiring, joyous, hard working and exuberant. The nuns excel at their studies and the nunner will soon be home to the first Geshe-Ma in India! Many of the nuns come from very poor families, or have fled Tibet with nothing. The nunnery is very crowded, with more nuns arriving every month.
