Karma Yiwong Samten Ling is a retreat centre in the Karma Kagyu Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism under the direction of Ven. Dekhung Gyaltsey Tulku Rinpoche.

The retreat is located in tranquil bushland at Molong only 30 minutes from Orange in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia.

  • The 'Last Sunday in Month Retreat Day' for May will be on Sunday 27th May.

All are welcome.

Suggested donations:

Wednesday meditation: $10, $5 Members

 

Day retreats: $20, Members $15
(Or whatever you can afford)
Please bring a vegetarian lunch to share. Morning tea and refreshments provided.

It is a policy of the Centre that nobody should miss out on an opportunity to learn or practise at the Centre for financial reasons. If money is an issue just give what you can afford.

Can you help? Support of any kind is greatly appreciated and there are a number of ways in which you can help the centre develop into an established place of retreat. If you are willing to contribute, please contact the centre for a gift form and for account details.

Volunteering
Jobs include building and maintainence work, admin, catering during retreats, fundraising & publicity.

There is always a way in which you can assist so please contact the centre for more information.

Donations
Another way of participating in the development of Karma Yiwong Samten Ling is to make donations to:
1. The Resident Teachers Fund Dekung Gyaltsey Rinpoche has indicated that he will be providing a Resident Teacher for his Australian Centres! Donations will be used to support the resident teacher on a daily basis and to facilitate his travel between Rinpoche's Australian centres. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the flowering of the Dharma and to help make regular supported practice a real possibility for many people.
2. The Building Fund The centre is still in its early construction stages. Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.

Ven. Dekhung Gyaltsey Rinpoche

Ven Dekhung Gyaltsey Tulku Rinpoche is a senior teacher of the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism
and is well acquainted with all the Tibetan Buddhist traditions.

Having trained in both the Tibetan and Chinese traditional medical systems, Rinpoche is also a highly respected healer. He is tireless in his dedication and commitment to benefit all beings.

Rinpoche is responsible for the day to day administration of the monastery complex at Dharma Chakra Centre in Sikkim, India - the main seat of His Holiness the Seventeenth Gyalwa Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.

He also oversees the management of Drupkhong – a meditation centre started by H.E the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche.
