Calm abiding (Shamatha) meditation

This module provides a comprehensive exploration of the first practice in the Buddhist tradition of calm abiding or peacefully remaining meditation. Students learn the benefits of meditation and its effects on the mind, based on recent scientific research, and gain the opportunity to deepen their understanding through regular meditation practice.
